Contacting prospects:

  • Calling your prospect list to request introductory meetings, offer product information or inviting them to an event
  • Writing to prospect lists (email or traditional mail) to make contact and invite further discussion

Lead Qualification:

  • Qualify leads, are they genuine (not competitors researching your business!)
  • Determine where in the buying process the lead is at – research or strong intent to purchase?

Following up on sales enquiries:

  • Define the follow up process, where applicable, and create databases for capturing progress updates
  • Use scripted calls/emails in line with client procedures to follow up on enquiries
  • Prepare a priority list for the business owner to revert to as part of the follow-up process.
